Rarely has any feature phone launch has made so much noise and has so much fanfare as the Nokia 3310 has. The iconic Nokia 3310 has been relaunched by Nokia brand partner HMD Global at the company’s Sunday launch event at MWC 2017 in Barcelona.
It was surprising to see the number of leaks and renders coming out for a feature phone. Such is the connect and love of brand Nokia quoted many on social media.
Nokia 3310, which was initially launched in the year 2000 (17 years back!!) is one of the highest selling phones ever due to its durable battery and hardware. Back then it was one of the first phones that dumped the antenna and had a “large” screen.
It is indeed a very clever move to re-establish the brand using the following of the best budget phone ever and can do wonders for the Finnish start-up HMD Global, which also unveiled several Nokia-branded Android smartphones.

HMD says the colour-screened phone has up to a month’s standby time and delivers more than 22 hours of talk time. The all new Nokia 3310 is priced at €49 ($51,75; Rs. 3500).
HMD Global has confirmed that Nokia 3310 (2017) India sales will begin in Q2 2017. As of now, this phone looks like a perfect one for a digital detox and a collectibles item!
