Lenovo is all set to launch its latest handset Lenovo K5 Note in India on August 1. Lenovo’s device that are sold online only come with “Vibe” tag. Earlier Devices like K5 Plus and Lenovo Vibe X3 were launched in India with same Vibe label.
The K5 Note was launched in January with a price tag of CNY 1,099/Rs. 11,350/USD 165 in China and one can expect the company to maintain similar pricing when it is launched in India.

Lenovo has posted a new teaser of the Vibe K5 Note that reveals the smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM. It will come with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display, a MediaTek’s 64-bit Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Mali-T860 GPU. On the storage front, the smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
It comes with a 13-MegaPixel Primary camera with Triple-LED flash and an 8-MegaPixel front-facing selfie camera along with a 3500mAh battery. For connectivity, it comes with Dual-SIM(Micro SIM), 4GLTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.

Lenovo K5 Note is a successor of highly successful K4 Note which came with a technology that Lenovo dubbed as ‘TheaterMax’, which can convert any multimedia content into a virtual reality experience. Be it games or videos, TheaterMax can convert them into “immersive large screen experience boasting smooth graphics, life-like surround sound and responsive 3D gameplay.” K5 Note is also expected to come with TheaterMax technology and may be sold with a VR headset like ANTVR was sold with K4 Note.
