Reliance Jio unveiled the much awaited feature 4G phone, the JioPhone last month. Since then there has been a lot of hype and buzz around the same and why not? The phone is aimed at India’s budget phone users who cannot afford a smartphone. The JioPhone can be pre-booked from 5.30 PM today.
While there were a few specifications like a 2.4-inch display, a panic button, expandable storage, FM radio, a 2-megapixel rear camera, SD card slot and Bluetooth connectivity etc were announced. The phone was said to support 22 Indian languages and comes with a voice command support and much more.
Reliance also stated that the feature budget 4G phone will support smartphones like apps, NFC connectivity for tap-to-pay payments through UPI, credit and debit cards. Few of the features mentioned above will be made available at a later stage with software updates.
Today detailed JioPhone specifications were released on the official website and revealed the impressive set of specification Reliance is able to cram in this so called cheapest 4G phone. The phone will come with a 2000 mAH battery, will have MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema, JioChat, JioMusic and JioXpressNews apps.
