Xiaomi Mi 6 with Snapdragon 835 SoC launching on February 6

Xiaomi is all set to launch its flagship in China on February 6th. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with a 4K display and 2.5D curved glass on top.

It was earlier speculated that the successor of Xiaomi Mi 5/Mi5s will be launched during CES 2017 in January however, a poster that has been released which shows that Mi 6 will come in February.

Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with a 5.1-inch display, a 23MP camera with dual LED flash , a 7MP front camera. There were reports that Mi 6 may come with a dual camera setup on the back with two 16MP sensors and a 4MP sensor at the front. Which also leads us to believe that there may be multiple variants in works.Xiaomi_logo

If the reports are to believed, Mi 6 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, Qualcomm’s flagship processor, 4GB RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. A 3000mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 will power the device. Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be water resistant. It will have the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 cover.

The Mi 6 will also have a fingerprint sensor beneath the physical home button located at the front and will come with a USB-Type C port for connectivity and charging. Leaks also suggest that there may be Mi6 S, Mi6 E and Mi6 P variants based on processor.
