The UMi Max comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display curved display with 1920*1080 pixel resolution, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The phone is powered by an Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor and comes with a 4000mAH non-removable battery. There are two color variants available, Silver and Rose Gold.

A Red colored home button adorns the front of the device and looks pretty unique and premium. This home button houses customizable LED notification with 7 different color choices for different events.The UMi Max comes with a 13MP rear or main camera located at the back along with dual tone LED flash, a circular shaped fingerprint sensor, and UMi branding just below that.
The company claims that the Max comes with chip-level security resulting in a very fast unlocking fingerprint sensor. The smartphone can store multiple fingerprints on the device itself.

A volume rocker is located at the right along with the power key too while you have a hybrid SIM slot and an additional customizable shortcut button on the left side of the device.
Umi Max comes with a 13 MP rear camera made by Panasonic with a F/2.2 aperture while the front camera is a 5 MP shooter, it also has an aperture of f/2.2. The camera focuses really quickly and has multiple modes available like live photo, HDR, panorama, motion tracking, and capture from multiple angles. Other highlight features are voice-activated capture, smile-activated capture, and burst mode with 40 captures.
Umi Max comes with a 4000 mAh battery that i good enough for a day and half day easily. You can watch videos, play games or browse the internet on the go without any hassles. UMi has been successful in adopting the Stack and Folding technology in the battery, which has enabled them to successfully include a large size battery without increasing the thickness of the device. It comes with a USB C type connector and does not have fast charging.
Overall a device with decent look and feel. The design is not really very unique but the performance v/s price aspect is decent. Camera could've been better but the battery is excellent. Overall, a decent budget android smartphone that is difficult to ignore.
