You need to ensure that you are running the Windows 10 Anniversary update on your windows 10 PC . If you’re not sure about the Anniversary update, then just try checking for updates in Windows 10’s Settings > Update & Security. Alternatively, you can find the Windows 10 Anniversary Update on Microsofts’ website too. Turn Your Computer into a WiFi hotspot

Once you’re done with the official Windows 10 anniversary update, follow the below steps to turn your computer into a wifi hotspot.


Step 1 : Go to Settings : Press Windows + I or find the setting in the start menu


Step 2 : On the Network & Internet page, on the left-hand side, click “Mobile hotspot.”


Step 3 : Turn the “Share my Internet connection with other devices” switch ON. Default credentials can be changed from the edit button.


Step 4 : In case you choose to edit the default details, you can type whatever network name and password you want to use and then click “OK.”

Thats it. You are ready to share the internet connection and turn your computer into a WiFi hotspot in case you’re on Windows 10. You can share internet with 8 other devices. Cool isnt it ?

The feature, however, was rolled with anniversary update of Windows 10, so if you have not yet updated windows on your PC you should do it now as this may be last chance to get Windows 10 for free.
