While we’ve tried to cover needs of all the users, however, there are a few devices that are in the  leagues of their own like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Indian|International) can be easily called the best smartphone of 2016 yet or LG G5 (Indian | International)  can be easily called as the best innovative smartphone of 2016 for its innovative and brave attempt towards modularity.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3 (Indian|International) needs to be mentioned too as it gave really tough competition to LeEco Le 2 and is one one the best selling budget smartphone of recent times.

  1. Nice list, near perfect! Though my choice for around 100 dollars would be Coolpad Note 3 Lite. But the tough part would be to quote “The Best Android Smartphone of 2016 till date”, OnePlus 3 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I still believe the latter wins even though OP3 is a fabulous phone too.

    • True Anant! No doubt Coolpad Note 3 Lite is a fabulous device. Xiaomi however, as per my understanding has a better availability and with MIUI 8 around the corner, Redmi 3S would be a really amazing performer. In terms of “The Best Android Smartphone of 2016 till date” indeed it is a tough fight. This indecision itself speaks a lot about OnePlus 3 !!
