Swipe Technologies has launched an upgraded version of its Elite Star smartphone which was launched in December 2016. The new version now comes with an enhanced internal memory of 16GB. It is Powered with Android M and Indus Operating System to help the users of regional language. The new ELITE Star is available in black as well as white colors. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart at an affordable price of Rs. 3,999.

In terms of specifications, the Elite Star comes with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1GB RAM and is powered by a 2000 mAH battery. The new 4G VoLTE-ready variant of Elite Star comes with 16GB internal storage compared to the 8GB on the previous model. There is a 5-MP Rear Camera and a 1.3 MP Front Camera for Selfies.

Following the Digital India initiative of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Elite star has made recharges and payments easier for users, therefore, increasing online transactions 4-folds by users in this price bracket.

The company claims that the Elite Star received enormous response since its launch in December 2016 and the smartphone had witnessed a staggering adoption rate with 70%-plus usage in regional languages across the country. The phone’s popularity is largely attributed to its unique feature of connecting Indians in 12 regional languages with its Indus OS.
