Samsung has formally announced the launch of its next flagship the Galaxy Note 7. Wait, you read it right it isn’t Note 6 after Note 5 but Note 7. Whatever may be the logic behind this, the good news is that Galaxy Note 7 will be launched officially on 2nd August in Unpacked 2016 event.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at 11:00 a.m. EDT in New York i.e 8:30pm IST. on August 2, 2016. Simultaneous, launch events will take place in Rio de Janeiro at noon and in London at 4:00 p.m.
Samsung also stated the there will be new features added in the S Pen, which has also highlighted in the official teaser.
First and foremost though, you might be curious as to why it’s called Galaxy Note7 instead of Galaxy Note6. There are a couple reasons why. First, the Galaxy Note7 will complement our Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and unify our product portfolio. Second, the Galaxy Note7 will minimize confusion about the latest mobile technology from Samsung, and provide full alignment with Galaxy S smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be coming with an iris scanner , a Curved screen like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, 6-inch QHD Super Amoled , Android 6.0 out of the box, a 12-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and a 3600mAh battery.
It will come in Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral colours and will have 4GB RAM and offer three inbuilt storage options – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
