Oppo has launched its much anticipated camera smartphones under the F series in India. The company has launched the Oppo F1 Plus at 26,990 and the Oppo F1 at Rs 15,990. These smartphones come with a 8.0-megapxiel front facing snapper with beautify feature and live colour filters which can be called their USP. The smartphone will be sold February 4 onwards while the company plans to sell F1 plus sometime in April.oppo f1official

Oppo F1 has a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top of it. The smartphone has a full metal alloy body along with a  coating of Zircon Sand surface for a premium look. A Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM powers the Oppo F1. A 16GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card takes care of the storage part of the phone.


The device comes with a with a 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera with single-LED flash, 1080p recording and PDAF support. It also comes with shooting modes like HDR, Ultra HD, double exposure, shooting exposure and GIF mode among others. Its backed with a 2500 mAH battery and has 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS for connectivity.  The smartphone runs on OPPO’s Color OS 2.1 on top of Android 5.1 ans supports dual sim card.

Oppo F1 Plus specifications and features: Oppo F1 plus is the costlier variant  and it offers almost same set of specifications and features apart from a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and 4GB of RAM. As per the  the company “Oppo F1 Plus will offer a better selfie experience than the Oppo F1. While Oppo F1  will allow an even wider range of users from all around the world to experience OPPO’s outstanding photography technology. “
