There were rumors that LG is working on a mini version of its current flagship smartphone the LG G6. Till some time back it was being referred to as LG G6 Mini however, the media invites hint that it may be called LG Q6. Whatever it may be called, LG G6 Mini or the LG Q6, it is set for a global launch on July 11 in Poland.
LG Q6 Specifications
LG has put in a lot of efforts in designing the LG G6 and hence the LG Q6 will still follow the same design language. It will come with the same 18:9 aspect ratio as the LG G6 but with a smaller screen i.e. 5.4-inch display unlike the 5.7-inch QHD display of LG G6.
Since the LG Q6 will be a stripped down variant, it will have downgraded hardware is compared to the flagship variant. It is said that theLG Q6 will sport a single rear facing a 13-megapixel camera and 3 GB RAM and will be powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Meanwhile, LG recently introduced a beefed up LG G6 variant i.e. LG G6+ a few days back with a slightly better configuration than that of the LG G6. The LG G6+ comes with 128GB of storage, new “optical marine blue” and “optical terra gold” colors, and a quad DAC. Rest all the features and specifications of LG G6 are the same.
