It would not be a surprise if a lot of people in the US had never heard of a company called LeEco which unveiled a plethora of products in the US. After a successful stint in Asian smartphone market like China and India, LeEco burst into the North American market. It showed off two smartphones Le Pro 3 and Le S3, four new TVs, ExploreVR VR headset, Android-powered sports bicycle and its electronic car LeSee.
Le Pro 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it has a 5.5-inch screen, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 16MP camera. The LePro will be available in grey or gold brushed metal and comes with a 4070mAh battery. It will be available for $400 with an initial rebate of $100. The phone will include a three-month free trial of its EcoPass content service.
While the budget smartphone the Le S3 features a Snapdragon 652, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage , a 5.5-inch display and a 3,000mAh battery. That phone is priced at $249.
The ExploreVR comes with USB C connector that plugs one of the smartphones into the front of the headset. There are a number of sensors built-in, including a gyro meter, accelerometer and magnetometer and a proximity sensor.
LeEco is also offering 5TB of cloud storage, unlimited photo and video backup, a two-year extended warranty, and LeEco’s streaming video offerings. It may also offer discount on Netflix, Hulu, and other video streaming services in the US.
LeEco’s SuperTV’s include the flagship $5,000 uMAx 85 85-inch tv that comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a Harmon Kardon audio system and it supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10. LeEco also unveiled budget 4K tv’s like the X43 Pro, X55, X65.
The ExploreVR headset and Android-powered sports bicycle were also showcased however pricing of both was not revealed. The new services and hardware will launch on LeMall.con on November 2nd at 10am PT. Yet another introduction by LeEco is Flash Sales, where the products go out of stock in fraction of seconds. It would be interesting to see how American react to these Flash sales !
