Huawei Watch launched in India, Specifications and price

After being first showcased at MWC 2015, Huawei Watch has finally been launched in India priced at Rs. 22,999. It will be sold exclusively through Flipkart starting today.

This smartwatch has a 42MM diameter case and different styles of bands that range from leather to metal. However, Huawei currently plans to launch only Leather version in India right now.Huawei Watch Specifications

Huawei Watch comes with Android Wear, features a scratch-proof sapphire crystal coated display. It has a 1.4-inch touch-sensitive AMOLED display with 400×400 pixels resolution at 286 pixels per inch. It comes with 40 watch faces and support several third-party applications along with core Android Wear apps

It has a stainless steel frame, along with a built-in heart rate monitor, and 6-Axis motion sensors and has a gyroscope and accelerometer to help it track different activities such as walking, running and climbing.

It comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 4GB of inbuilt storage, and 512MB of RAM. Huawei Watch is IP67 certified and can withstand more than just a few splashes of water.

“Huawei watch is the first smartwatch in the Huawei wearable family and also the first watch in the market to truly bridge the gap between fashion and technology. The smartwatch has received a great response globally from consumers and celebrities and we hope to keep up the momentum in the Indian market,” said P. Sanjeev, Vice President -Sales for Huawei & Honor Consumer Business at the launch.

Huawei watch comes with a 300mAH battery that is enough to power the device for 2 days with regular usage. It supports fast charging and offers up to 80 percent battery life in just 45 minutes of charge, or 75 minutes for a full charge.

Huawei watch, which is powered by Android Wear, let users get alerts for calls, texts, instant messages and emails. It also has Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphone usage, offline music download support.
