Honor, Huawei’s subbrand, launched a budget smartphone along with the flagship device Honor 8 and Honor 8 Smart. The Honor Holly 3 is the first ‘Make in India’ smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. It is the same Honor 5A that was launched in China back in June 2016.

Honor Holly 3 comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and runs EMUI 4.1 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 620 octa-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via the microSD slot (up to 128GB).
It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
3100 mAh battery powers the device and it comes with power saving technology that promises up to 1.74 days of battery life with average use and up to 1.17 days of battery life with heavy use, claims the company
It has 3D textured back cover, similar to the Holly 2 Plus and has sensors like accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, and G-sensor.
It is a dual sim 4G LT smartphone with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Driect, Wi-Fi hotspot, Micro USB, and Bluetooth v4.0.

The Honor Holly 3 Plus comes in Black, White and Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will go on sale in India soon.
