While the Zenfone AR and Zonfone 3 Zoom are still waiting to debut in major part of the globe, the Asus Zenfone 4 lineup has just been revealed online. Both the Google Tango enabled Zenfone AR and camera focused Zenfone 3 Zoom were first introduced in CES 2017 and are available in very few countries.

As per the recent leak from the Google Support website no less than 6 devices, including 2 variants of Zenfone 4, have been revealed.

Asus Zenfone 4

These devices are :

  • Asus Zenfone 4 Max (ZC554KL) : As the name suggests is the battery focused device. In the Zenfone 3 series we saw 2 variants of Zenfone 3 Max and a Zenfone 3S Max (review) that came out a bit later. We expect the same 4000/5000mAH battery in this variant. It comes with the same device ID and model ID – ASUS_X00ID.
  • Asus Zenfone 4 : This is the standard Zenfone 4. The listing shows 2 variants of Zenfone 4, second one maybe a regional variant.
  • Asus Zenfone 4 Pro :  This variant comes with a “Pro” monicker which makes us believe that it will be the higher variant of the Zenfone 4. All we know at this point in time is that it carries a Device ID ASUS_Z01GD_1 and model number ASUS_Z01GD.
  • Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie : This is the selfie focused variant of Zenfone 4 and it goes by the current trend. This would be the secod selfie phone from Asus after the Zenfone Selfie that came with 13 MP cameras at both at the front and the rear. It bears Model ID Asus_Z01MD and Device ID Asus_Z01M_1
  • Asus Zenfone 4V (V520KL): Not much is available about this device as its an entirely new series that Asus is coming up. Zenfone Video may be on the lines of Zenfone Live? just a wild guess though. It bears the same device id and Model No. ASUS-A006.

Not much is avaialable apart from this info. however, we are sure that we will see a lot more in coming time. The Zenonfe 3 Series, despite of having huge potential, did not see much success with the Zenfone 3 series due to incorrect pricing. The Zenfone 3 saw a huge price reduction recently however, that was too late to make any impact. We hope Asus comes up with pricing bang on this time around.
