Asus has announced the availability of the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) in India. It is priced at INR 17,999 and can now be purchased on select offline retail outlets and all major Online Sales Portals.The 5.5-inch model ((ZC553KL) will be available in Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, and Sand Gold colour options.
The Zenfone 3 Max was announced last month along with the 5.2-inch variant (ZC520TL), which is already available at INR 12,999.
The 5.5 inch variant of Zenfone 3 Max comes with a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 108081920PX resolution with a 2.5D contoured glass on top.
It comes with a 4100mAh lithium-polymer battery, which supports reverse charging facility and lets you charge other gadgets/devices. It gives a 38 days of 4G standby time, and up to 17 hours of 3G talk time, while the 5.2-inch variant will see the same battery deliver up to 30 days of 4G standby time, and 20 hours of 3G talk time, claims ASUS.
The ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. An 8-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture and an 84-degree wide-angle lens serves the selfie camera purpose. It also features the triple technology autofocus system which we noticed during Zenfone 3 review.
You get a 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card. There is a hybrid dual sim slot that supports 2 sim cards or a sim and a microSD card. The phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1 and Micro-USB. It also has an FM radio present. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
