Apple set to launch iPhone 5SE on March 21

Apple has sent out invites for its upcoming event on 21st March in Cupertino, California for its much awaited mini iPhone — a four-inch “iPhone 5SE.” The company has sent invitations to the media for a special event on Thursday, with the words “Let us loop you in.”

The company is widely expected to launch a smaller sized iPhone which would be same as iPhone 5S in terms of size. However, on the features front it may have the same features as the latest devices like iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s like the camera system from the iPhone 6, NFC and Apple Pay support.. iPhone 5SE or “Special Edition” phone may have rounded edges, a Touch ID home button and an on/off button on the right-hand side of the device.

If the reports are to be believed, Apple may be launching yet another device along with the smaller sibling iPhone 5SE. This may be a smaller iPad Pro, new Apple watch bands and software updates for its devices. Both of these devices will likely be available within a matter of days, not weeks, after the event.

Apple will live stream the event on its website and through the Apple TV. Click here to follow the live stream of the event.
